Welcome back to school! Join us as we kick off a new year.
SECAC was asked to get a legal interpretation regarding PGCPS providing virtual speech services. A follow-up was done with the Office of General Counsel regarding virtual speech services. Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) is following the guidance as indicated in the Maryland State Department of Education Technical Assistance Tips for Speech-Language Therapy. PGCPS is in the process of releasing a virtual speech services parent brochure that will inform families about our approach and how decisions are made for virtual speech services.
